NexGen Pathways is looking for people interested in building a career in disability and community support.
As an Individual Support Trainee, you will be employed by NexGen Pathways and gain practical experience with a host employer while completing your formal qualification.
You will work alongside experienced support professionals, helping people with disability build independence, participate in their community and manage everyday activities.
This is a genuine employment and training pathway for someone who wants to make a difference while gaining nationally recognised skills and experience.
Key responsibilities
- Support participants with day-to-day living activities
- Assist with community access, appointments and social activities
- Provide respectful, person-centred support in line with individual support plans
- Maintain accurate workplace records and documentation
- Follow workplace health, safety, privacy and safeguarding requirements
- Work closely with supervisors, support teams and participants
- Complete all required workplace training and qualification assessments
